The Center for the Study of Hindu Traditions (CHiTra) presents:

A public lecture with Dr. Howard J. Resnick, Ph.D. Sanskrit & Indian Studies, Harvard University.

Dr. Resnick is a former visiting professor in UF’s Department of Religion. As a world-renowned teacher of both Sanskrit and Indian Studies, Dr. Resnick has translated numerous classics of Vedic literature and is sought throughout the world as a prominent speaker. Noted for his humor, intellectual wit, philosophical acumen, linguistic genius, fluency in over six languages, and vast knowledge of religious history, he is currently working on a project to present the great epic narrative of South Asia, the Mahabharata, as a three-part historical novel.
